9 Months

already 9 months old! I just want to freeze time... she is as cute as it gets and we are completely smitten. This month was rough on her. Two double ear infections and a major cough made for some sad days, but even when she's sick she is mostly happy and smiley. She's not loving food lately, but seems to have plenty of energy. She can stand up without holding on to anything and walks when pushing her little cart. She loves taking her baby for walks. She claps, and waves hi and bye and loves playing ball. At her 9 month check up our peanut was 10th percentile in height and 25th in weight. She is rocking two teeth and even some hair (fuzz). She babbles all day long ... mammmma, dadda, addaaaa, lalala and really seems to like music. Her favorite activity is taking away her brothers toys and destroying anything that he builds. He has been a very kind big brother.

Helen's First Hockey Game

On September 28th Adam and I took Helen to her first hockey game ever. I was worried how Adam would do with Aaron not being on the ice, and him not being able to go to the locker room after the game but he was excited to watch Daddy's hockey players and he seems to be just fine with the transition. Before the game he told Aaron he would help him make notes on which players are good, but he only watched the game for 10 min *while there was popcorn* and then ran around with his friends. Helen slept through the game although the Zagreb fans must be the loudest fans in the world. They cheer the ENTIRE game, and there are drums and trumpets and Medvescak songs... it's a great experience but I guess Helen isn't easily impressed. And those ear muffs really work!

Time flies... 6 months old already!

I was slightly apprehensive about my capability to love two, when I only knew how to be a mother to one. But it only took seconds, maybe even just half a second to fall in love all over again. My heart just grew that much bigger, making room for a completely new love all of her own. She's 6 months old now, with big blue eyes and the cutest little nose I did ever see. Already Dad's little princess, she squeals and lights up when he comes home. Crawling all over the place like a little speed turtle and pulling herself up on everything. Her fave food so far is carrots. She loves watching her brother play. Her number one toy is the yellow giraffe. 0 teeth. She is perfect. And always will be.
